Spin Me Right ‘Round, Baby, Right ‘Round

So, last week we talked about how we rebranded and relaunched in Google Play.

Currently if you search for Pinterest in the market, SpinPicks is showing up as either the number two or three app depending on whether you’re searching with a browser or on your Android mobile device. For an app as young as ours, we say “AWESOME!”

Now, those of you who are trying out the app and we know that you are (we’re at 300,000 spins and counting), Paul and I would like to ask you a favor. It’s a really big favor, but don’t worry it won’t take very long.

Could you please, head back to Google Play and rate SpinPicks Free? We know there are over a thousand of you out there -Hi guys- and it would be really helpful if you could share your experience with the app.

Don’t forget you can ALWAYS email [email protected] if you have any questions. We have done our best to work out all the bugs, but one of the minor drawbacks of the Android ecosystem is it’s hard to know exactly how your app will perform on every device. So, please let us know via email if you have any issues.

So what else is happening with SpinPicks?

Well, we have now integrated YouTube into our categories. Paul texted me the other day to let me know:

I changed it to “Trending Videos” instead of “Most Popular” before it completely crushed my faith in humanity.

This tickles me, but I’m mostly glad we won’t be crushing Paul’s soul, we need him to get that iOS app finished.

We are also working on getting into the Amazon App Store, so it won’t be long until you can spin pics (see what I did there?) on your Kindle Fire.
