More Spintastic Goodness Coming Your Way

Hello! How are ya?

Did you know Paul and I -I’m Heather by the way, nice to meet you- communicate mostly through texts and IMs? That’s what happens when you live a hundred miles apart and have lives and jobs and the little start-up that could.

I woke up bright and early this morning -because my kids don’t know how to sleep in- to find that Paul was up very late last night fixing errors and adding moar goodies to your Spinterest Experience.

To see all the Spinterest goodies, you need to open the app on your Android phone and tap to download the update from the market.

Spinterest is taking off like crazy and well. . . Pinterest, if you haven’t noticed, isn’t quite as excited about this success as we are. Hmph.

Pinterest has what’s called a rate limit that says, “WOAH, hold your horses, Spinterest, you can’t have any more Pinterest for the next hour or so.”

That’s when this little guy will show up.

We don’t have a name for him yet, but we’re open to suggestions.

If you see him, just change to a category like Instagram, TwitPic, PicPlz, Reddit/R, or Flickr CC and just keep spinning. See, we want you to have fun while we work through these growing pains.

We are also adding a skip login to the app that will also help you spin when Pinterest has told us to chill out for a little bit.

So what’s the takeaway?

Update your app and have fun with the newest version of Spinterest! You should be using version 1.2.
